ACB Cracks Down on Bhilwara Constable in Bribery Case

Bhilwara: In a major action against corruption, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered an FIR against a police constable posted in the Mandal area of Bhilwara district for allegedly demanding a bribe.

According to officials, the accused constable is facing charges under the Prevention of Corruption Act after a complaint was filed regarding illegal monetary demands in connection with a police matter.

Bribe Demand Allegations

The complainant alleged that the constable demanded money in exchange for providing relief in a case and avoiding legal action. Following the complaint, the ACB conducted a preliminary verification, which confirmed the allegations.

FIR Registered Under Corruption Act

After verifying the complaint, the ACB registered a formal case against the constable under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Further investigation is currently underway to determine the extent of involvement and whether other officials are linked to the case.
