The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Jammu has registered a Regular Case against Ashok Kumar, Head Constable posted at Police Station Gharota, Jammu, for allegedly demanding a bribe of ₹15,000 from a local resident. The FIR states that the allegations were immediately taken up for verification by Inspector Subhash Kumar of CBI ACB Jammu.During the verification process, the accused reportedly negotiated with the complainant and reduced the demanded bribe amount from ₹15,000 to ₹13,000.
