Viral Photos and Political Posters Intensify Battle Between BJP and Congress

Jaipur: The NEET-UG 2026 paper leak controversy in Rajasthan has escalated into a full-scale political confrontation after photographs and promotional hoardings allegedly featuring accused Dinesh Binwal alongside senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders surfaced online. The opposition Congress has intensified its attack on the ruling party, claiming that the images raise serious questions about the BJP government’s repeated claims of “zero tolerance” toward examination mafias and organised cheating networks.

The political dispute has now moved beyond the investigation itself, turning into a bitter war over alleged political connections, public image management, and accountability.

BJP Rejects Allegations, Congress Produces Fresh Claims

The controversy deepened after former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot targeted the BJP over the viral images. In response, Rajasthan BJP president Madan Rathore dismissed the allegations and stated that Dinesh Binwal was not an official party worker.

Questioning the opposition’s narrative, Rathore said:

“Is taking a photograph with someone a crime? Public representatives meet and interact with thousands of people.”

However, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully rejected the BJP’s explanation and claimed to possess additional evidence suggesting that Binwal had links with party circles.

The political argument further intensified due to social media posts and hoardings allegedly showing Binwal described as a “BJP office-bearer” while appearing alongside senior ministers and political figures.

Opposition leaders and political observers are now asking how such public hoardings featuring ministers and party branding could appear if the accused had no organisational connection with the ruling party.

Viral Hoardings Become Centre of Political Debate

The controversy surrounding the hoardings has become one of the most discussed aspects of the case on social media and political platforms.

Critics are questioning whether any ordinary individual could independently install political hoardings featuring top BJP leaders and portray himself publicly as a party office-bearer without organisational approval or support.

The opposition claims the images contradict the BJP’s attempt to distance itself from the accused after the NEET paper leak investigation intensified.

BJP leaders, however, maintain that photographs and posters alone cannot establish political patronage or criminal involvement.

Rajyavardhan Rathore’s Old “Breakfast” Remark Returns to Haunt BJP

The most politically sensitive aspect of the controversy revolves around viral photographs allegedly showing accused Dinesh Binwal alongside Cabinet Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.

Opposition leaders and social media users have revived an old video clip of the minister in which he had delivered a strong statement against mafias and criminal syndicates.

In the viral speech, Rathore had declared:

“I eat mafias for breakfast… if needed, I will dig them out of pits and ensure strict punishment.”

The statement, once projected as a symbol of aggressive action against organised crime, has now become the subject of sharp criticism and sarcasm online.

Social media users are mocking the minister by asking whether he has now “stopped eating mafias for breakfast” or “gone on a diet,” referring to the photographs showing the accused standing close to political leaders.

Opposition parties argue that such images undermine the government’s anti-mafia narrative and raise uncomfortable questions about political proximity to individuals now under investigation.

NEET Leak Case Takes Politically Sensitive Turn

The growing controversy over the accused’s political identity has made the NEET paper leak case increasingly sensitive in Rajasthan politics.

While investigative agencies continue probing the interstate examination leak network, the political battle has shifted toward questions of political association, accountability, and public credibility.

The issue has resonated strongly because the NEET examination directly impacts the future of lakhs of students across India. Opposition parties claim that instead of focusing only on arrests, the investigation must also examine whether influential individuals provided protection or legitimacy to those involved.

Meanwhile, the BJP continues to insist that the investigation should not be politicised and that action will be taken strictly on the basis of evidence.

Public Demands Accountability

As the controversy grows, public attention is increasingly focused on whether political parties will accept responsibility if individuals linked to their networks are found involved in examination scams.

The viral photographs, hoardings, and political statements have turned the NEET leak issue into one of the most heated political debates in Rajasthan, with both sides attempting to shape the narrative ahead of further developments in the investigation.

For now, the public debate continues over whether anti-mafia slogans and promises were genuine commitments or merely political rhetoric.
