Jaipur : A sensational complaint involving the Principal of the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Jaisalmer, has raised serious questions over transparency and administrative oversight in Rajasthan’s Education Department. According to documents submitted to the Special Operations Group (SOG), Jaipur, the officer is accused of allegedly using multiple names, different birth dates, varying signatures, and inconsistent family details across official records to secure service and financial benefits.
The complaint claims that in government records linked to the Rajkaj portal, the same officer appeared in 2016 and 2017 as Block Education Officer, Arthuna, but with two separate dates of birth. One record reportedly mentioned 05 December 1958, while another listed 01 October 1966. Despite the difference, the residential and property details were said to be identical, while signatures varied.
Further allegations state that tenders for financial years 2024-25 and 2025-26 were issued on the state procurement portal under the name “Ram Singh.” The complainant argued that portal registrations require departmental verification and OTP authentication, suggesting that the identity change could not have happened accidentally.
The matter becomes more complex with claims that the officer used different names in separate official forums. Court petitions were allegedly filed under “Ramkumar Singh,” while departmental seniority lists reportedly used “Ram Kumar” and “Ram Kumar Singh.” Institutional publications are also said to have referred to him as “R.K. Singh.”
Another key allegation concerns electoral records. The complaint claims that in 2002, the individual’s name appeared simultaneously in voter lists of two separate districts—Bharatpur and Alwar—with the spouse’s name listed identically in both places.
Questions have also been raised over discrepancies in the officer’s father’s name. Various government records, ration card documents, and land records allegedly mention multiple versions including Sumera, Summera, Sumer Singh, and Summer Singh.
The complaint further alleges that the officer’s original appointment order carried the name “Ram Kumar,” later modified in service records to “Ram Kumar Singh.” Now, with retirement due on September 30, 2026, the complainant claims the name was again altered in voter records to “Ram Kumar,” allegedly to avoid complications in pension benefits.
Serious accusations have also been made regarding delay in investigation. The complaint reportedly remained pending since October 2025, with allegations that certain officials intentionally suppressed action to allow the officer to retire with full benefits.
All eyes are now on Rajasthan SOG to determine whether a formal inquiry will be launched into the alleged identity fraud, document manipulation, and possible misuse of public office. No official response from the Education Department had been reported at the time of publication.
