Viral Images with NEET Paper Leak Accused Trigger Political War in Rajasthan

Jodhpur: The political controversy surrounding the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case has intensified in Rajasthan after photographs allegedly showing Education Minister Madan Dilawar with accused Dinesh Binwal surfaced on social media. As opposition parties escalated their attacks, Dilawar broke his silence during a media interaction in Jodhpur and strongly rejected allegations linking him personally or politically to the accused.

The Education Minister not only dismissed the controversy as politically motivated but also launched a counterattack on the Congress by citing photographs of himself with Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra.

“Public Figures Take Thousands of Photos”

Speaking to reporters at the Jodhpur Circuit House, Madan Dilawar said that public representatives frequently take photographs with thousands of people during political and social events, and such images cannot be used as proof of close association or criminal links.

Taking a direct swipe at the opposition, he remarked:

“I also have photographs with Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra. Does that mean he becomes my close associate? Merely appearing in a photograph or getting a name printed on a poster worth ₹50 does not make someone a criminal associate or a BJP insider.”

Dilawar argued that opposition leaders were selectively targeting BJP leaders by circulating photographs without context in an attempt to gain political mileage from the ongoing NEET paper leak investigation.

Sharp Attack on Congress Over Paper Leak Issue

The Rajasthan Education Minister further accused the Congress of hypocrisy and alleged that the roots of examination paper leak networks expanded during the tenure of the previous Congress government in the state.

Using the Hindi proverb “Sau chuhe kha kar billi haj ko chali” (“after committing countless wrongs, pretending to be righteous”), Dilawar claimed that several Congress leaders themselves are facing scrutiny in connection with earlier recruitment exam controversies and paper leak cases.

He asserted that the BJP government is committed to dismantling cheating mafias and ensuring strict action against those involved in examination fraud.

“Our government has adopted a zero-tolerance policy against paper leak syndicates and exam mafias. We are determined to eliminate this network completely,” he said.

Social Media Claims Add Fuel to Controversy

While BJP leaders continue distancing themselves from the accused, social media platforms have become the centre of fresh political allegations and counterclaims.

Opposition voices are alleging that accused Dinesh Binwal was not merely an ordinary party worker but allegedly held the position of district minister in the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Jaipur Rural unit.

Additional claims have also emerged regarding social media posts allegedly linked to Jamwa Ramgarh MLA Mahendra Pal Meena, where the accused was reportedly referred to as “brother” in birthday and anniversary greetings.

These developments have intensified opposition criticism, with Congress leaders demanding that the BJP “accept the truth” rather than attempting to distance itself from individuals allegedly connected to the case.

However, BJP leaders maintain that social media posts and photographs alone cannot establish criminal involvement or political protection.

“Truth Will Come Out Through Investigation”

Madan Dilawar emphasized that the NEET paper leak case is being investigated at the national level by central agencies and assured that the Rajasthan government is fully cooperating with the probe.

Reiterating confidence in the investigation process, the minister stated that facts would eventually emerge clearly.

“The truth will prevail. Milk and water will be separated. Whoever is guilty will face action,” he said while reiterating the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability.

Political Temperature Rising Over NEET Leak

The NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case has become one of the most politically sensitive issues in Rajasthan, triggering allegations between the BJP and Congress over alleged links between accused individuals and political figures.

As investigations by agencies such as the CBI and Rajasthan SOG continue, the controversy is increasingly shifting beyond the examination scandal itself into a broader political battle involving questions of accountability, influence, and alleged protection networks.

With viral photographs, social media claims, and sharp political rhetoric dominating headlines, the issue is expected to remain at the centre of Rajasthan politics in the coming days.
